If you check your Input Assign menu and find this is not the case, although your cable or satellite box is hooked up to HDMI Input 1 on the rear panel, then adjust the Input Assignment to follow where the cable or satellite box is physically hooked up. For example, "CBL/SAT" source is normally assigned to HDMI Input 1 out of the box. Please make sure the receiver's Input Assignments are set correctly. Please make sure the TV or projector is selected to the correct video input. If needed, try re-seating the cables to verify a secure connection.
